Sheek Circle
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 August 2026
1. Who we are
Sheek Circle is operated by SA AN CONSULTING GROUP LLC, registered in Texas, United States, at 9910 Hill Lane, Unit 7103, Manor, Texas 78653, USA. We decide how and why your personal information is used, which under European law makes us the data controller.
For anything in this policy, write to support@saanandco.com.
We have written this the way we would explain it to you in person. If anything is unclear, ask us.
2. What we collect
When you apply. Your name, email address, phone number, the city you would join in, your role and organisation, your Instagram, LinkedIn and website, what draws you to Sheek Circle, your area of genius, what you are building, what you can offer, how you heard about us, and who referred or nominated you.
When you become a member. Your billing details, membership tier, payment dates, the events you attend, the introductions we make for you, your birthday if you give it to us, and the notes we keep on how to be useful to you.
When you pay. Your payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, the amount, the date, and the name and email you used.
When you use the site. Basic technical information — the pages you visited, roughly where you visited from, and what browser you used.
When you talk to us. Emails, messages and anything you share in the community.
3. Why we hold it, and on what basis
To run your membership — reviewing your application, taking payment, giving you access, inviting you to things, and making your introductions. Under European law, this is because we need it to perform our contract with you.
To make the community work — introducing members to one another, keeping the directory, keeping the mix of the room balanced. This is our legitimate interest in running a community that is genuinely useful to the people in it, and yours in getting the value you joined for.
To tell you things — the newsletter, invitations, and news about the Circle. Where the law requires consent, we ask for it, and you can withdraw it at any time.
To meet our obligations — keeping accounting and tax records, and dealing with disputes.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.
4. The member directory — please read this one
The point of Sheek Circle is that members can find and help each other. That means other members can see your profile: your name, city, role and organisation, your area of genius, what you are building, what you need, what you can offer, and your public social links.
This is deliberate — it is the mechanism the whole community runs on — but it is your information and you control it.
- Tell us what you would rather not have visible and we will remove it from your profile.
- We never share your email address, phone number or billing details with other members.
- We never make an introduction without asking you first. Before we connect you to anyone, we ask you, we ask her, and we only proceed if you both say yes.
- Members are told the directory is for their own use and may not export, publish or pass it on. If someone does, tell us.
5. Who else handles your information
We use a small number of services to run Sheek Circle. Each holds only what it needs.
| Service | What it does | What it holds |
|---|---|---|
| Stripe | Takes payments | Your name, email, billing details and payment history |
| Airtable | Receives applications, and holds the member records the portal runs on | Your application and your member profile |
| Notion | Our internal planning and notes | Your member record where we keep our own history |
| Clerk | Members' area login | Your name, email and login details |
| Vercel | Hosts the website | Technical logs |
| The private community group | Your phone number and what you post there | |
| Our email provider | Sends the newsletter and member emails | Your name and email |
These are service providers acting on our instructions, not independent users of your information. Where the law requires it, we have data-processing agreements in place with them.
We may also share information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
6. Where your information is held
We are based in the United States, and the services above store information in the United States and elsewhere.
If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, this means your information is transferred outside your country. Where that transfer needs a legal safeguard, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or the equivalent UK provisions, which our providers have in place.
7. How long we keep it
If you apply and we do not accept you — we keep your application for 12 months, so we can consider you again in a later window, then delete it. Tell us to delete it sooner and we will.
If you are a member — we keep your record for as long as you are a member.
If you leave — we keep your record for 24 months, because members return and because we want to welcome you back properly rather than start from nothing. Ask us to delete it sooner and we will.
Payment and accounting records — we keep for 7 years, because tax law requires it.
8. Keeping it safe
Access to member records is limited to the founder and the small number of people who need it to run the Circle. Our providers hold recognised security certifications. We do not store card details ourselves at any point.
If something goes wrong and your information is affected, we will tell you and the relevant authority within the time the law requires.
9. Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Show you what we hold about you
- Correct anything wrong
- Delete it
- Stop using it for a particular purpose
- Send it to you in a portable form, or send it to someone else
- Withdraw your consent to marketing, at any time
Write to support@saanandco.com and we will respond within 30 days. We will not charge you, and asking will never affect your membership.
If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom and you are not satisfied with how we have handled something, you can complain to your national data protection authority. We would ask you to come to us first, but it is your right either way.
10. Marketing
We will send you news, invitations and the newsletter. Every email has an unsubscribe link and it works immediately.
Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop the emails we have to send you about your own membership — payment confirmations, renewals, and event details for things you have booked.
11. Cookies
Our site uses only what it needs to function and to understand roughly how many people visit. We do not run advertising trackers and we do not sell data to advertisers.
12. Children
Sheek Circle is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 18. If you believe we have, tell us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your information in a way that matters, we will tell you by email before it takes effect. The date at the top of this page always shows the current version.
